CHESTERFIELD, MO. — MiTek Industries, Inc., demonstrated the latest release of its MiTek 20/20 Suite of software at the Building Component Manufacturers Conference in Phoenix. The software features the latest version of TrussFramer, 3D building information modeling (BIM) software that lets residential component manufacturers optimize a structure; design roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels; and provide the layout and modeling of engineered wood products and dimensional lumber.
MiTek says its ongoing development of MiTek 20/20, an integrated business, manufacturing, and design software built exclusively for component manufacturers, and its commitment to producing equipment automation options for enhancing the manufacturing process are evidence of its focus on continually improving performance. At the BCMC conference, MiTek featured its latest “sensible automation” options for enhancing efficiency. Rather than focusing on large capital items, MiTek featured upgrades to existing equipment — from cutting to material handling — that allow businesses to add significant incremental performance gains without making capital-intensive commitments.
