CADsoft joins FM:Systems to deliver integrated building lifecycle management 

RALEIGH, N.C. — FM:Systems, a provider of integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) and computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software, announced that CADsoft Consulting joined the FM:Systems Business Partner Program. CADsoft is a full-service consulting, training, and support provider to AEC professionals.

CADsoft Consulting’s services are used by architectural firms, engineering companies, government agencies, and academic institutions. With the current trend toward more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, occupant-aware building designs, CADsoft said its customers are looking for ways to quantify the effects of design decisions and choose options that will provide visibility into managing the lifecycle of their facilities. Looking to complete its building information modeling (BIM) offering by providing customers with an integrated solution for managing facilities, CADsoft partnered with FM:Systems for its configurability, ease of use, and integration with Autodesk products.

According to Timothy Duncan, CADSoft’s president and CEO, “FM:Systems web-based facility management solutions meet [customers’] current needs and can easily adapt and grow with an organization to accommodate future requirements.” Duncan further added that the, “products also give us a competitive advantage, providing our customers with the ability to access and analyze facilities, real estate, and maintenance information resulting in reduced costs and improved productivity.”
