Autodesk Licenses ISOGEN Technology from Intergraph

SAN RAFAEL, CALIF. — Autodesk, Inc. announced that it has entered into a long-term OEM licensing agreement with Intergraph to embed Intergraph ISOGEN technology in Autodesk’s AutoCAD Plant 3D 2010 product.

According to Autodesk’s Vice President, Mark Strassman, the “intergraph ISOGEN technology will enable our AutoCAD Plant 3D customers to more easily and efficiently generate isometrics and fabrication drawings from their 3D models.

“As Intergraph ISOGEN technology is open and interoperable, Autodesk and other Intergraph ISOGEN customers and partners will be able to more easily share information – a win-win for the industry,” said Patrick Holcomb, executive vice president of Intergraph’s Process, Power and Marine division.
