Autodesk BIM Experience Award

The Autodesk BIM Experience Award celebrates professionals and educators around the world who are helping to drive industry transformation through building information modeling (BIM). Autodesk honors organizations for their innovation, leadership, and excellence in implementing BIM with the help of core BIM products, including one or more of the Autodesk Revit platform products and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D software, and other Autodesk products that complement the BIM process.

Winners are selected based upon the following criteria:

Degree of experience with BIM projects—completion of at least two building projects through construction documentation or significant progress on at least two infrastructure projects using core BIM products, including one or more of the Autodesk Revit platform products and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Value delivered in specific areas of practice—use of core BIM products and other Autodesk products that complement the BIM process to achieve high quality results for design, simulation and analysis, documentation, and project delivery, and to facilitate sustainable development, integrated project delivery, digital design-to-fabrication, or conceptual design.

Extent of collaboration and file-sharing—integration of the Revit model or Civil 3D model with one or more disciplines and/or tools for conceptual design, sustainable design, analysis, fabrication, construction, or visualization.

BIM for education—use of Autodesk BIM software or the Autodesk Revit BIM Sustainable Design Curriculum in a successful educational program for at least one year.

Awards are granted to firms practicing in any AEC discipline, including architecture; civil, structural, and MEP engineering; or construction.
