Ameri-CAD announces BIM consulting and implementation services

ALLEN, TEXAS — Ameri-CAD, Inc., an ITW Company, announced the availability of its concept-to-production Building Information Modeling (BIM) consulting and implementation service for the residential building community. The Language of Building, Powered by Autodesk Technology, is the foundation of Ameri-CAD's knowledge and expertise at implementing measurable enhancements to the product development cycle through BIM technology solutions.

Jay Moore, Ameri-CAD’s business development manager, said, "Increasing economic pressures place greater value on efficiency and accuracy. BIM provides a managed and accountable process to reduce risk by enhancing collaboration, coordination, and cooperation that you can expect to reduce errors and omissions earlier in the design cycle. BIM will improve designs, cost-estimating, and product sustainability. Organizations can accomplish more with less effort and resources. A model can provide 40-70 percent of necessary construction documentation and BIM reduces duplicated efforts and inefficiency most commonly associated with traditional CAD methods."
